Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 October 2026. These terms cover the Blox website (bloxpuzzle.com), the browser game and the Blox apps for iPhone and Android (together, “Blox”).
1. Who we are
Blox is made and run by the Blox developer (an individual based in India), called “we” or “us” in these terms. You can reach us at [email protected]. By playing Blox or creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Blox.
2. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher (for example, up to 16 in some EU countries), to create an account or use the online features. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian has read these terms with you.
3. Accounts
- You can play the first section of the game (the Easy tier) as a guest. When you open online features such as the weekly tournament or leaderboards, a guest account is created for you automatically.
- A free account, created by signing in with a code sent to your email, unlocks every level and keeps your progress across devices.
- Keep access to your email account safe: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.
- One person, one account. Don't share, sell or transfer accounts.
- You can delete your account at any time in the game (Menu → Account → Delete account) or by email. See Delete your account.
4. Names and content
The only content players create in Blox is display names and group names. They are seen by other players, so they must follow our name rules: nothing offensive, hateful, sexual, violent, harassing, or impersonating anyone, and no personal details, links or adverts.
We have zero tolerance for abusive names. We may rename, hide or remove any name, group or account that breaks these rules, without notice.
5. Reporting
If you see an offensive name, report it with the ⚑ button next to it on a leaderboard, or email [email protected] with the name and where you saw it. Names reported by several players are reset automatically. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours, and we may close the accounts of players who post abusive content.
6. Fair play
Our servers check every tournament solution before it counts. Don't cheat, use bots or scripts, run multiple accounts to gain an advantage, interfere with the game or our servers, or try to access other players' data. If you do, we may remove your scores, reset your league, or suspend or close your account. The full rules are on the Rules page.
7. Ads
Blox is free to play and is paid for by a small number of ads, served by Google (AdSense on the web, AdMob in the apps). Ads only appear between levels and on menus, never in the middle of a puzzle, and we allow only family-safe ad categories. Ads are provided by third parties; we don't control or endorse what they advertise. How ads use data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
8. Purchases and virtual items
There is nothing to buy in Blox at the moment, and there are no virtual currencies or items. Points, leagues and ranks have no money value and can't be exchanged or sold. If we ever add purchases (for example, to remove ads), we will update these terms first, and the app store's own terms will apply to them.
9. Our game and your licence
The Blox game, its levels, artwork, code, name and logo belong to us (apart from open-source parts listed on our Licenses page). We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play Blox for your own non-commercial enjoyment. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the game or its levels, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows.
Blox is an independent, original game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any other game, game studio, brand or company. Other names mentioned anywhere belong to their owners.
10. Changes to the game
We are always improving Blox. We may add, change or remove levels, features, tournaments or leagues, and we may pause the online features for maintenance. We'll try to give notice of big changes in the game.
11. Disclaimer
Blox is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it running and fair, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, or that scores and progress will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, we make no other promises about Blox.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, or for loss of data, progress, rankings or enjoyment. Because Blox is free, our total responsibility to you for any claim about Blox is limited to INR 1,000 (or the equivalent in your currency). Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country.
13. Ending these terms
You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other players at risk or creates legal problems for us. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why. Sections 9, 11, 12 and 15 continue after an account is closed.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Blox changes. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we'll show a notice in the game. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply. If you don't agree with them, you can delete your account.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of India, but if you live in another country you keep any protection the law of that country gives you, and you may be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
